Indented grant by John Stragman and Thomas Audlegh [Audley], gentlemen, executors of the will of John Raynforth, knight, and John Garyngton senior of Heybridge (Hebrege), Essex, yeoman, to Edward Duxfyld, clerk, of an annuity of ten marks from the manor of 'Warneys' and its appurtenances, together with a house called 'Darcyschauntre' in Maldon, [Essex], all for the term of his life, in return for him celebrating divine service in the Darcy chantry in the church of Holy Trinity in Maldon. Under Raynforth's will, Stragman and Audlegh were keepers of the Essex possessions of Thomas Darcy, a minor, son of Roger Darcy, esquire, while Garyngton, son of John Garyngton of Mundon (Mondon), Essex, yeoman, was feoffee in (amongst other Essex lands) the manor of 'Warneys' in the parish of Althorne, Essex.
