Indented grant by Thomas Awdeley [Audley] of Gosbecks, Essex, gentleman, to Bartholomew Yonge of London, gentleman, of a tenement called 'Chambers' in the parish of Stanway, [Essex], containing around 30 acres, lately occupied by Roger Braberton, deceased (location given). Condition that the grant shall be void if Yonge is able to enjoy a lease of the same property made on this same day, or if Audley pays £30 to Yonge on 27 October 1597. Appointment by Thomas Audley of his brother John Audley as his attorney in this matter.
Witnesses: John Darcye, Thomas Awdeley and George Audeley.
