Description

Indented grant by John atte Hyde of Colchester, merchant, to William de Leycestre and Joan his wife, of a tenement in East Street in Colchester, [Essex] (details given), formerly of Philip de la Rokele, and which he has by enfeoffment from William and Joan. They are to hold it for term of their lives, at an annual rent of one red rose.

Dated at Colchester.

Witnesses: Joseph Elyanore and John de Fordham, bailiffs of Colchester, John Waryn senior, Adam Waryn, Adam de Coln, Alexander atte Watere, John Springold, Elias Springold, and others.
