Deed of sale by Thomas de Dedham and Robert Edward of Colchester, executors of the will of Ralph Knyght of Colchester, mercer, to Christine, daughter of Ralph Knyght, of the meadow called 'Plantynggesmed' in the suburbs of Colchester, [Essex], formerly of Matthew le Verrer (details given).
Dated at Colchester.
Witnesses: William de Hadleye, one of the bailiffs of Colchester, Joseph Elyanore, Warin atte Welle, Ralph Ode, Adam Waryn, John atte Halle junior, William de Ratlesden, John Lucas, Richard Tote, clerk, and others.
Endorsed: Note of the enrolment of this and other documents in the hundred court of Colchester, 18 June 1347, when Thomas de Dedham and William de Hadleye were bailiffs. By Richard Tote, clerk of Colchester.
