Testimonial by John Smyth, Christopher Besell, Gerard Tayler and Robert Thomsun, brothers of the friary of the Crutched Friars in the suburbs of Colchester, [Essex], concerning an indenture made for Master John Barnabe [Barnaby]. On dorse: Partial copy of a lease, dated 10 January 1536, by which the prior and convent of the Crutched Friars of Colchester granted an orchard to John Barnabe. Followed by a memorandum from Richard Deryke, prior of the Crutched Friars of Colchester, confirming that he had sold to John Barnabye certain cupboards, tables and other items in his chamber and in the new hall.
