Description

Enfeoffment by Henry Felde, Richard Brid and John Shymmyng of Colchester to John Grenehill and his wife Isabelle, Master Roger Martyn, clerk, Richard Sukley, clerk, Richard Welde and William Smyth of a grove with appurtenances containing roughly an acre of land in the hamlet of Mile End (Myland) in the liberty of Colchester, [Essex] (details given). The grove, called 'Mochylreylond Grove', had been granted to Thomas Felde and his wife Joan, now deceased, by William Persoun senior and Seman Youn of Colchester, by a charter dated 21 June 1452.

Dated at Colchester.

Witnesses: William Saxe and John Sayer, bailiffs of Colchester John Seman, John Thomace, Robert Thursteyn and others. Two of three seals.
