Grant by Thomas atte Woode and Henry Felde of Colchester to John Grenehill of Colchester and his wife Isabelle, Master Roger Martyn, clerk, Richard Sukley, rector of Holy Trinity, Colchester, Richard Welde and William Smyth of Colchester, of all the wood or grove with appurtenances, and a road leading to it, situated in Mile End (Myland) within the liberty of the borough of Colchester, [Essex]. This wood, once of Simon Mate and formerly of Thomas Felde, was previously granted by Geoffrey Rokell, esquire and Henry Stampe to Thomas atte Woode, Henry Felde, Thomas Felde and his wife Joan, and William Lecche by a deed dated 21 October 1449.
Dated at Colchester.
Witnesses: William Saxe and John Sayer, king's bailiffs of the liberty of the borough of Colchester, John Seman, John Thomace, Robert Thursteyn, Richard Thursteyn, Robert Perkyn of Mile End, and others.
