Indented grant by Joan Martyn, widow, Edward, her son and heir apparent, Hugh Fonteyne and Henry Greybeare to John Rowe, sergeant at law, William Edward, John Luscombe junior, John Lyght, Edmund Sture and William Trenyk, of all their lands and tenements, rents, reversions and services in Waterman in the parish of Ugborough, [Devon], granted to them by Joan, to hold to the uses contained in an indenture dated 20 September 1524 between Joan and Edward Martyn and Henry Sture. Fonteyn and Greybeare appoint John Lappe and Roger Hanes as their attorneys to deliver possession to Rowe, etc.
