Indenture Between Thomas Hele of Flete Damerell, Devon, Richard Hyll of Modbury, Devon and Robert Preste, son of John Preste of Modbury on the first part and John Hele of Raddon, Devon, and Gervys Prouse of South Brent Devon, on the second part stating the division between Thomas Hele, Richard Hyll, Robert Preste and John Hele and Gervys Prouse, of a tenement called 'Colmore' and 4 farthings of land with appurtenances in North Huish. The tenement and the lands were granted by James Marthewe, Ursula, his wife and Edmond Marthewe, son and heir of James Marthewe, in date 1 December 1582, to Robert Prouse, for 99 years. Robert Prouse the 16 June 1586, granted half of it to Thomas Hele, Richard Hyll and Robert Preste and the other half to John Hele and Gervys Prouse.
Witnesses: Gilbert Blackle, William Baron and William Reynolds.
