Description

Quitclaim by Frideswide Hyve, wife of Thomas Hyve of Modbury, Devon, Richard Hyve, Thomas Hyve's son and Agnes Hyve, Thomas Hyve's daughter and wife of Nicholas Gilbert alias Webber, to Henry Sture of Marridge, of tenements and lands in Lupridge, in the parish of North Huish, Devon, that were granted to Frideswide Hyve by John Sture, deceased, by indenture dated 1 August 1583.

Witnesses: William Sture, John Parnell and Edward Sudloe. Marks and seal of Fridewide, Richard and Agnes Hyve (one seal is missing and one is damaged).
