Indenture between George Selbye of Newcastle upon Tyne and William Selbye of Shortflatt, Northumberland on the first part and Robert Hearon of Meldon, Northumberland, stating the lease for 3 years by George and William Selbye to Robert Hearon of the village or hamlet of Meldon, Northumberland, with capital messuage, lands, tenements, fields, meadows, pastures, moors, feedings, arable lands, waste grounds and appurtenances.
Witnesses: Thomas Whittakers, rector of Meldon, Ralph Myddleton, Marmaduke Femwicke, Richard Rawe and William Jackson (for William Selbye) and Richard Rawe, James Scoles and George Nicholsonn (for George Selbye).
Endorsed: 'A lease of Meldon from Sir George Selby etc. with a obligation'.
