Sale by Thomas Willoughby, gentleman, of Little Comberton, Worchester, to Roland Lighe, esquire, of Longborough, Gloucester, of the manor of Stowe-on-the-Wold, called Stowe St Edwards in Gloucester and the advowson of the church of Stowe-on-the-Wold and the leet and law day, with all the appurtenances, rents, services, profits and commodities, according to an indenture between them dated the 25th of January 1580. Letter of attorney by Thomas Willoughby to James Brommadge.
Witnesses: Thomas Conghtrye, Edumnd Baltharop, Peter Typping and Thomas Pope. Memorandum of the delivery of the lands by Thomas Bromadge on 3rd March [1580] upon a parcel of land called the Grove before one George Stenell, as also possession and seisin of and in one shop in the tenure and occupation of William Hobbes. Many witnesses.
