Indenture between James Holden of Rainham, Essex, and Thomas Frithe of Upminster, Essex, stating the sale for 2, 120 pounds by James Holden to Thomas Frithe of a messuage or tenement with appurtenances, yards, orchards, gardens, houses, edifices and buildings, part of the manor of Muncham, in Woodford, Essex, in the tenure of Joanne Newman, widow (for 21 years at the yearly rent of 133 pounds), with several fields of arable land, pasture and meadow in Woodford and Chigwell. Except for tenements and lands that by indenture, dated 22nd of July 1612, were appointed by James Holden to the use of himself and his heirs, and the yearly rent of 13 pounds paid by Thomas Purfcote, stationer, and Ralph Frithe, draper, for a lease of 18 years (by indenture dated the 21st of October 1613).
