Indenture between James Holden of Rainham, Essex, and George Lyon of Roxby, Lincolnshire, on the first part and Thomas Hill, citizen and writer of the court letter of London on the second part, stating the sale by James Holden to Thomas Hill for 710 pounds of a capital messuage or tenement called Munckham, in Woodford, Essex, in the tenure of Richard Price and Francis Cheney (by indenture dated the 20th of January 1611, for 21 years at the rent of 37 pounds per year) with yards, orchards, gardens, barns, stables, edifices, buildings, a field/close pasture land of 9 acres, another of 8 acres, another of 19 acres, another of 9 acres, 4 acres of meadow, 2 acres of arable land, in the parishes of Woodford and Chigwell, another tenement with 3 fields of 8 acres of land, a field of 4 acres of land, 56 acres of woodland, with rents, leases and appurtenances.
Witnesses: Matthew Thomas, Francis Pensax and Henry Catcott.
