Copy of the indenture between George Lyon of Roxby, Lincolnshire, John Lyon of West Twyford, Middlesex and William Millet of London on the first part and James Holden of Wennington, Essex, on the second part, stating the sale By George and John Lyon and William Millet for 2, 800 pounds to James Holden of 2 messuages called Buckhurst alias Munkenhill alias Munckhill alias Munckham and 340 acres of arable land, meadow, pasture and wood with all the appurtenances, rent and leases (lease for 21 years to Joanne Newman at the rent of 133 pounds per year and lease to Francis Cheney for 21 years at the yearly rent of 37 pounds), in Woodford and Chigwell, Essex.
Witnesses: John Lyon and Austin Hynde. Acknowledged by George Lyon before John Amye Chancery Master, in date 10 July. Acknowledged by John Lyon and William Millet in date 18 July before John Amye Chancery Master. Note of the admission in chancery in date 18 July.
