Indenture between John Fisher of Fernham, Shrivenham, Berkshire, gentleman, and Edward Castle, of Buckland, Berkshire, yeoman, stating the lease by John Fisher of a messuages with barns, stables, orchards, gardens, houses, meadows, arable lands and appurtenances in Longcot, Berkshire. The messuage was granted by indenture, dated 10 March 1599 by William Banister, of Curbridge, Oxfordshire, to Thomas Banister of Longcot, for the term of 20 years, under the yearly rent of 33 shillings and 4 pence. Thomas Banister by indenture dated 31 October 1601, granted the lease of the said lands to Arthur Lewes, and after his death to John Fisher, executor of his last will.
Witnesses: John Hickes, John Southby and Francis Young.
