Indenture between Thomas White of South Warnborough, Hampshire, esquire, on the first part, and Sir Robert Gorges of Redlynch, Somerset, and Sir Francis Clarke, of Hitcham, Buckinghamshire, on the second part, stating the lease by Thomas White, in consideration of 5s. and for the maintenance and livelihood of Elizabeth White, his wife and Mary White, his daughter, to Robert Gorges and Francis Clarke of the messuage, tenement and farm called "Ryversden" with appurtenances, in Warnford, Southampton, for the term of 80 years. They pay to Elizabeth and Mary White £80 per year.
Witnesses: Richard Wotton, William Brorone and John Ellett. Label attached to box 63: "25 Juny 1644 these fowr writings were found in my mr Chamberlames deske in the office and were delivered unto me by my mr. Awdeley and are entred in the booke of evidence Courtney White Theaker Bowyer."
