Indenture between the dean, Roger Parker, professor of Theology, and the chapter of the Cathedral church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Lincoln, on the first part, Thomas Styrropp, of the close of Lincoln, gentleman, on the second part and George Riggs, clerk vicar of the church of Edenstowe, Nottinghamshire, and Richard Blyth of Boughton, Nottinghamshire, on the third part, stating the lease to Thomas Styrropp, for the term of his life, for the term of his sons' lives, Laurence and George, or for the term of Elizabeth Styrropp's life, the manor and the rectory of Edenstowe, with appurtenances, lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, rents, services, revenues, frank pledges, tithes, glebe lands, emoluments, hereditaments and commodities. They have to pay to the dean and the chapter of St. Mary £13 10s. per year. Letter of attorney by the dean and chapter of St. Mary in Lincoln to George Riggs and Richard Blyth.
Witnesses: Laurence Styrroppe, William Freman and Thomas Hanys. Memorandum dated 26 January 1626 of the delivery of the lands according to the indenture.
