Description

Indenture between James Hulbert of Corsham, Wiltshire, clothier, on the one part and John, Thomas, James, Richard and Henry Hulbert, his sons, on the other part, by which James grants to them the manor of Escott in Urchfont, woodlands, meadows, arable lands, pastures, common pastures, common ways, drovers, waters, fishings, profits and commodities with appurtenances, in the tenure of William Flower, deceased, to the use of James Hulbert, the father, for the term of his life, after his death they shall have the manor and pay £20 per year to Eleanor Baskervile, widow, during the term of her natural life, and they have to pay to James and Edward Flower, sons of Elizabeth Flower, deceased, one of the daughter of James Hulbert, the father, £20 per year. When James Flower reaches 21 years of age he shall be seized of the said manor.
