Indented statement by James Hulbert of Corsham, Wiltshire, gentleman, that, according to an indenture between him and William Flower of Escott in the parish of Urchfont, Wiltshire, gentleman, dated 15 June 1613, by which he was granted the site and farm of Escott with appurtenances, under request he shall pay to William Flower and his wife £800 and the yearly rent of £40 for the term of their lives, and the yearly rent of £20 to Eleanor Baskervile, widow, for the term of her life.
Witnesses: Charles Tooker and Jasper Johnson.
Endorsed: memorandum that the deed was shown to Ellen Baskervile, widow, and William Veale, on their examination taken in the court of Wards on 9 October 1616, in the suit between James Hulbert defendant and William Flower, plaintiff.
