Indenture between Richard le Vernon of Whatcroft, Cheshire, and Adam de Bostock, relating to an agreement concerning the marriage of Nicholas, son and heir of Richard de Vernon and Margery, daughter of Adam de Bostock. Adam shall pay to Richard le Vernon 50 marks and Richard shall grant to Nicholas and Margery 1 messuage and 30 acres of land with appurtenances in Whatcroft. If Margery dies within 5 years Adam de Bostock will have back half of the 50 marks he has paid.
Dated at Whatcroft. One seal.
