Description

Grant by Hugh de Dutton to Geoffrey, his brother (in law?), of 9 bovates of land in Walton with appurtenances, 8 bovates in Runcon, with appurtenances, and the land in Newton, all Cheshire, in exchange for land in Preston. Geoffrey has to pay to him 4 barbed arrows per year.

Witnesses: Henry, prior of Norton, Brother Ralph, a canon, Roger constable of Chester, Hamon de Masci, Adam de Dutton, Ralph de Chingelle, Ralph Walensi, Robert de Masci, Richard de Venables, Richard de Londoti', Ralph Cumin, Adam de Elistona, Herbert de Walet', William de Tabbeleia, Blecherus, Roger the hunter, "Haydpop" and any others. Missing seal.
