Description

Grant in frank marriage by Alexander Craket of Middlewich, Cheshire, to John de Houcton and Annabel, his daughter, of lands with appurtenances he bought from Gilbert son of Hawise de Stiwell, in Middlewich, lands with appurtenances he bought from Ralph son of Corald, with 8 pence of yearly revenue and 4 selions of arable land called "Chadegrenelond", in Middlewich. They have to pay for the land of Ralph son of Corald 4 pence per year, 4 pence for the 4 selions of land, and to Alexander Craket and his heirs 1 pair of white gloves.

Witnesses: Sir Richard de Holte, William de Venables, baron of Kinderton, Richard, Lord of Croxton, Ralph de Heregreve, Matthew de Crawenache, Thomas Malbol, Richard Golde, Hugh son of Walter, Simon Clerk and others. Missing seal.
