Quitclaim from Thomas le Sadler and Felicia, his wife, to Robert Kel and Alice, his wife, of all their rights to a plot of land with appurtenances in Middlewich, [Cheshire] (boundaries given). Dated 38 [Edward III]. [on dorse] Copy of earlier grant by Hamo de Mascy to Geoffrey de Dutton, son of Geoffrey de Dutton, of a moiety of the manor of Bollington (Bolinton), [Cheshire], to hold with Agnes, his daughter, in marriage, excepting to himself the mill and fishery in the waters of the River Bollin. For this, Geoffrey and his heirs by Agnes are to pay Hamo and his heirs an annual rent of one gilt spur.
Witnesses: Philip de Orrebi, then justice of Chester, Hugh [Grylle], abbot of Chester [1208-1226], Roger, steward of Mold, William de Venables, Warin de Vernon, Roger de Maynwaring [Mainwaring], Alan de Tatton, Thomas de Orreby, and others.
