Description

Indented grant by Robert Margeryessone, chaplain, to John, son of Hugh de Cholmundelegh [Cholmondeley] and Felicia, his wife, for the term of Felicia's life, of all those lands and tenements and 3s 6d annual rent which he has in Newton near Middlewich, [Cheshire], of the gift of John and Felicia. After Felicia's death, the land and rent are to pass to Richard, son of Robert de Bulkilegh and his wife Agnes.

Witnesses: Adam de Bostok, Richard de Somerford, Richard del Schagh, Ralph de Swetenam, Thomas Houdesone, and others.

Dated at Newton. Broken seal of Robert Margerysonne.
