Description

Grant by William Faber of Middlewich to William, his son, of half his lands and tenements in Middlewich, [Cheshire] (details given). For this, the younger William has already paid 55s to his father, and is to pay 14d per year to the heirs of Ralph le Roter, and one pair of white gloves each year to his father.

Witnesses: Ralph de Vernon, Ralph Richard de Massy, Richard de Sonbache [Sandbach], John de le Holt, Robert le Grovenor, then sheriff of Cheshire, Richard de Croxton, Thomas Crastet, William son of Thomas, William the clerk, and others.
