Description

Indented grant by Thomas de Gravene, vicar of St Werburgh in Chester, Henry de Molynton, vicar of Backford, Robert de Rosinngreve, vicar of Over, and John de Neston, chaplain, to Richard Whytehed [Whitehead], citizen of Chester, of all that messuage in Foregate Street (Forthgatestrete) in Chester [Cheshire], which they had by gift from Henry le Bruyn, citizen of Chester (boundaries given). For this, Whytehed is to pay 30s each year. Witnesses: John le Chamberlein, mayor of Chester, Henry le Bruyn and Stephen de Chorlegh, sheriffs of Chester, David de Eulowe, Roger Erneys, William de Bradburn, and others. Dated at Chester. Three of four seals.
