Lease by William, son of Hugh son of Walter of Middlewich (Medio Wico) [Cheshire], and Mary, his wife, to Adam le Bordhewer, of all the lands with buildings, orchards and appurtenances that they hold in the fee of the hospital of St John the Baptist next to Middlewich (boundaries listed). They are to hold them for twelve years, at an annual rent of one silver penny. For this lease, Adam has paid them two silver marks. Witnesses: Richard, lord of Croxton, Matthew de Betheton, Adam de Holton, Thomas de Wevere [Weaver], Gilbert Dodefyn, Robert Saveyer, Thomas Craket, William the clerk, and others. Two seals.
