Grant by William de Brichull, dean of the church of St John of Chester, to Robert de Bulkilegh [Bulkeley], Felicia, his wife, and Richard, their son, of all the lands with buildings in Newton by Middlewich [Cheshire], that he bought from Thomas, son of Nicholas Craket (boundaries given), as well as a messuage with two selions of land, a plot of land called 'Dedyfurlong', and 6d rent from Robert Caus for a plot of land called 'Wybarfiche', all in Newton, 1d rent from William le Reneyde for a passage leading to his salting in Middlewich, and ½d rent from John de Lughtebergh for a messuage with croft in Newton. Witnesses: Hugh de Audelegh [Audley], justice of Chester, Richard de Fouleshurst, then sheriff of Cheshire, Robert de Croxton, Adam de Bostok [Bostock], William de Ocleston [Occleston], John de Coton, Adam del Schagh, and others.
