Description

Indented lease by Thomas de Dunstapell and Joan, his wife, to Robert de Bulkylegh [Bulkeley] and Felicia, his wife, for the term of their lives, of all their lands and tenements in Newton (Neuton), Middlewich (Medio Wyco), Sutton, Wimboldsley (Wymbaldeslegh) and Curtishulme (Curteyeshulme) [Cheshire]. They are to pay an entry fine of 20 marks, and an annual rent of £20. Witnesses: Robert de Holand, justice of Chester, William de Modberlegh, sheriff of Cheshire, Robert de Croxton, John de Coton, Roger de Toft, John Raher, Adam de Bostok, and others. Dated at Newton. Seals of Thomas de Dunstapell and Joan, his wife.
