Description

Indented lease by William Baskurvile [Baskerville], son and heir apparent of the late William Baskurvile of Bostock [Cheshire], and Agnes, his wife, to Thomas Wryght [Wright] of Middlewich (Medio Wico) [Cheshire], of thirty acres of land, meadow and pasture in 'Le Lechemarehegh' in Bostock Wood, paying an annual rent of one red rose for the first thirty-one years and ten marks thereafter. Appointment by William de Baskurvile and Agnes of Ralph Spencer as their attorney to deliver seisin to Thomas Wryght. Witnesses: Charles Maynewaryng [Mainwaring], George Swetenham, Robert Bostok, William Wariell senior, Ralph Spencer of Middlewich, and many others. One seal.
