Witnesses: Hamo de Massy, Robert de Stokepord [Stockport], Richard de Bromale, William, rector of Bowdon (Bothedon) [Cheshire], Hugh de Worth, William de Karenton, Robert de Hyde, Stephen de Bredbury, William de Massy, and others. The text of a grant by Hamo de Massy to the same John, concerning free entry into the lands of Avice de Timperleg in Timperley [Cheshire], is partially obscured under the fold of the seal tag.
