Description

Final concord made in the court of the earl of Chester at Chester before William Trussel, justice of Chester, Sir Ralph de Vernon, Sir Patrick de Haselwall, Sir William de Brereton, Sir John de Boydel, William de Melton, chamberlain of Chester, William Gerard, Philip de Eggerton, Richard de Fonleshurst and others of the county of Chester, between Roger de Ducton, plaintiff and Hamo de Ducton, defendant, concerning the manors of Ashley and Timperley, Cheshire, and 18 acres of land with appurtenances in Hale. Hamo acknowledges that the manor in Timperley and the 18 acres of land in Hale belong to Roger, and Roger grants to Hamo the manor in Ashley; Hamo has to pay to him 1d. yearly, and for the grant he has given to Roger a sparrow-hawk.
