Description

Indenture between John de le Holt and John de Lucteburg, by which John de le Holt leases for 30 years to John de Lucteburg lands with premises in Sutton, except from the part that Alice, widow of Walter de Horecroft holds until her death (details given), at the yearly rent of 3d., Luctberg having already paid 4½ marks.

Witnesses: Sir Ralph de Vernun, Sir William de Venables, Sir Richard de Sonbache (Sandbach), John le Wetenale, Robert le Grovemur, Alex de Baymnik, Richard Lord de Croxton, Thomas de Wenere, Thomas Malbol, Richard Colde and many others.

Endorsed: "Scriptus Johannis del Holt" Missing seal.
