Description

Indenture between the mayor, bailiffs and burgesses of Beaumaris on one part and Richard Bulkeley, son and heir of Richard Bulkeley, on the other part, by which the mayor, bailiffs and burgesses grant, for 4 marks, to Richard Bulkeley a messuage, called the Olde Place, with appurtenances, a vacant tenement called the Olde Stables, a garden, 32 virgates of land of a vacant tenement in longitude and 6 in latitude, the Old Street, a house with a kitchen, a store-room with 3 cottages, a small room called le Bay and the common pasture called the Rhos y Franches, for the yearly rent of £4 4s. 2d.

Endorsed: note that the possessions have been delivered to Richard Bulkeley by two attorneys. Witnesses: Roland Wytfyn, Thomas ap Jemar, William Brodes, Lewis Robertts, William Shnyglye, George Gryffyth, Richard Nixon, William Walkin, Hugh Ockeley, David ap William ap Jemar ap John, Richard Benet, Thomas Taylor, Robert ap Ithell and the attorneys Roland Kenrik and Richard Thomas.

Dated at Beaumaris in the Guildhall.
