Description

Indenture between William son of Ralph de Bagilegh and Clementine, his wife on one part and Richard son of Robert de Bulkilegh (Bulkeley) and Agnes, his wife, on the other part, stating the division between them of the lands of the late Roger de Cheadle, father of Clementine and Agnes, comprising the manor of Clifton, lands and tenements in Echeles and Cheadle, Hulme, Timperley, the water-mill in Cheadle, fishery and pond in Adswood, (all Cheshire), the advowson of the church in Cheadle, services, rents and revenues.

Witnesses: Ralph de Vernon, Hamon de Masty, Hugh de Ducton, William de Bagilegh, William de Modburlegh, Robert de Bulkilegh senior, Robert de Masty, Richard del Brom, John de Carninton and others.

Dated at Cheadle. One seal. The other part of the indenture is WARD 2/14/53C/7
