Grant by Robert Swayne of Tarrant Gunville, Dorset, gentleman, and John Longford alias Cave of Charlton, Wiltshire, yeoman, to Sir Thomas Ferke of Iwerne Courtney, Dorset, Sir John Hanam, of Wimbourne Minster, Dorset, Sir John Bulkeley, Richard Swayne, of Tarrant Gunville, Dorset, Richard Warre, of Hestercombe, Somerset, William Swanton, John Boden, Walter Grove, Thomas Awbrey, Thomas Bennett, of Pythouse, Wiltshire, Thomas Butler of Almer, Dorset, and George Mervin of Upton, Wiltshire, of the manor of Sedgehill, Wiltshire, messuages, lands, tenements, rents, revenues, services, profits, commodities and hereditaments in the parish of Sedgehill and Semley, and the house, messuage and farm in the parish of Donhead St. Andrew, Wiltshire, and lands, tenements, revenues, services, woods, under-woods, profits, commodities and hereditaments, being within Donhead St. Andrew, Donhead St. Mary, Ludwell, Charlton, Melbury Abbas, Fontemell, Cann, Shaston alias Shaftesbury, and the liberty of Alincester alias Alcester, which were granted to them by Sir John Bulkeley of Burgate, Hampshire, William Swanton of Somerset, esquire, John Boden of Shaston (Shaftesbury), gentleman, Walter Grove of East Coker, Somerset, and Thomas Awbrey of Chaddenwick, Wiltshire, gentleman, by indenture dated 10 September 1605. Appointment by Robert Swayne and John Longford of Richard Kinge and John Blanford as his attorneys.
