Indenture between Walter Grove of Honiton, Devon, and Thomas Awbrey of Chaddenwick, Wiltshire, gentlemen, on one part and John Grove, of Donhead St. Mary, Wiltshire, esquire, on the other part, by which Walter and Thomas grant to John Grove the reversion of the lands and premises that Walter Grove and Thomas Awbrey sold to George Chaldecott of Shaston, in date 5 October 1622, comprising the manor of Sedgehill with appurtenances and lands, tenements, profits, commodities, services, in Donhead St. Andrew, in Wiltshire, and in Sedgehill and Semley, and in Donhead St. Andrew, Donhead St. Mary, Ludwell and Charlton in Wiltshire, and in Melbury Abbas, Fontmell, Cann, Shafton and the liberty of Alcester in Dorset.
Witnesses: Thomas Whitroe, John Humber, George Chaldecott and William Magges (for Thomas Awbrey), and William Grove, Robert Phillips, George Chaldecott and William Magges (for Walter Grove).
