Grant by Sir John Bulkeley, of Burgate, Hampshire, William Swanton, of Wincanton, Somerset, esquire, John Boden, of Shaston, Dorset, gentleman, Walter Grove, of East Coker, Somerset, gentleman, Thomas Awbrey of Chadenwich, Wiltshire, gentleman, to Robert Swayne of Tarrant Gunville, Dorset, gentleman, and John Longford alias Cave of Charlton, Wiltshire, yeoman, of the manor of Sedgehill, Wiltshire, messuages, lands, tenements, rents, revenues, services, profits, commodities and hereditaments in the parish of Sedgehill and Semley, which they have by the grant of William Grove, of Shaston, Dorset, deceased, and the house, messuage and farm in the parish of Donhead Andrew, Wiltshire, and lands, tenements, revenues, services, woods, under-woods, profits, commodities and hereditaments, being within Donhead Andrew, Donhead Mary, Ludwell, Charlton, Melbury Abbas, Fontmell, Cann, Shaston alias Shaftesbury, the liberty of Alincester alias Alcester, with the intent that Robert Swayne and John Longford shall grant the said lands to Sir John Bulkeley, William Swanton, John Boden, Walter Grove, Thomas Awbrey, Sir Thomas Freke, of Iwerne Courtney, Dorset, Sir John Hamman, of Winbourne Minster, Dorset, Richard Swayne of Tarrant Gunvyle, esquire, Richard Wyrr, of Hestercombe, Somerset, gentleman, Thomas Bennett of Pythouse, Wiltshire, Thomas Butler of Almer, Dorset, gentleman, and George Mervin, of Upton, Wiltshire, gentleman. Appointment by Sir John Bulkeley, William Swanton, John Boden, Walter Grove and Thomas Awbrey of Richard Lannynge and John Cooke as attorneys.

Witnesses: Giles Sandener and Roger Morgan (for Sir John Bulkeley), Nicholas Plimptons, John Bleenford, William Swanton and John Kinge (for William Swanton), Rober Hill and John Bleenford (for Thomas Boden), William Grove and John Bleenford (for Walter Grove), John Bleenford and Robert Histerk for Thomas Awbrey.

Endorsed: Memorandum that the 17 September 1605 Thomasine Grove, William Grove, Robert Grove and Hugh Grove agreed to remain as tenants of the lands after the grant. Memorandum that the lands were delivered by the attorneys in date 25 September 1605.
