Description

Letter patent by George, archbishop of Canterbury to John Edsawe, clerk, uncle of Philip Benet junior, son and heir of the late Philip Benet senior of Wotton, Sussex. Philip Benet junior being underage, John Edsawe will be his administrator for the properties of his late father, until he reaches 21 years of age; summons to appear before the Prerogative Court of Canterbury to give account.

Dated at London. Signature of Edmund Woodhall, registrar. Missing seal.
