Description

Indented bargain and sale by William Bonsall of Heathcote in Hartington, Derbyshire, yeoman, to James Hambleton, of Sheen, Staffordshire, of one messuage or tenement with appurtenances in Heathcote, in Hartington, with all the buildings, orchards, gardens, courtyards, lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, feedings, woods, under-woods, privileges and 30 acres of land. Appointment by William Bonsall of Humphrey Goodwyn, his attorney, to deliver his lands to James Hambleton.

Witnesses: John Daughtie, Thomas Clarke, John Woodde, Thomas Harison and Humphrey Goodwyn.

Endorsed: note that on 27 January the lands were delivered to James Hambleton by Humphrey Goodwyn, in the presence of William Ferme, William Halle, Arthur Balle, Thomas Hambleton, George Hambleton, with signature of Humphrey Goodwyn.
