Letters patent, inspeximus of proceedings in the Court of King's Bench, Michaelams Term, 21 James I (1623) touching a commission after Nicholas Younge's death (indenture of 23 August 1620), concerning his lands in Moore, Shropshire: 1 messuage or tenement called The Onle Dichis and diverse lands, pastures, meadows, and appurtenances and another tenement called The Farme house, with appurtenances held by Francis Younge and 4 cottages with appurtenances, in a place called Mores Wood. When Nicholas Younge died, the 9 August 1613, Richard Younge, his son and heir, was 7 years and 6 months old; William Younge, son and heir of Francis Younge claims his rights on Farm house and 4 cottages with appurtenances. The findings of the commission was that Nicholas Younge died not seized of the tenement called Farme house and 4 cottages and appurtenances, for this reason William Younge is allowed to proceed in his claim.
