Indenture between John Huckemore esq. of Devon, of one part, and Roger Codner, fishdriver, and Henry Codner of Kings Kerswell (Kinges Kerswill), Devon, smith, sons of John Codner the elder of Kings Kerswell, and John Codner the younger, son of Edward Codner of Kings Kerswell, by which Huckemore, for £100 cash down, demised to Roger Codner a meadow of 7 acres called "Brodemeade", in Coffinswell, with appurtenances. Boundaries are listed. The meadow is to be held by Roger Codner during his natural life and then by successive reversions to Henry Codner and John Codner the younger. They are to pay 20 shillings yearly. Power of attorney by John Huckemore to John Codner the elder and William Codner.
