Grant, in pursuance to a deed of covenant dated 20 February 1607, by Thomas Cotton gent. of Panfield, Essex, to Edward Westley of Hempstead, Essex, demising that parcel of land and meadows with appurtenances called Johns, in Hempstead. Letter of attorney by Thomas Cotton for John Banges, to deliver his land to Edward Westley.
Witnesses: Christopher Pepper, Rook Westley and Peter Cooke.
Endorsed: memorandum of the delivery of the land by John Banges to Edward Westley on 21 March 1607. Witnesses: Rook Westley, John Westley, Robert Horner, Peter Cooke and John Banges. Holographic signature and seal of Thomas Cotton.
