Grant, in pursuance to a deed of covenant dated 10 June 1608, by Thomas Cotton esq., of Panfield, Essex, to John Banges, yeoman of Hempstead, Essex, of closes of arable land, meadows and pasture with appurtenances in Hempstead, called Darkyns and Hurlockes, containing around 15 acres of land.
Endorsed: note of the delivery of seisin of the lands. Witnesses: Alexander Deringe, William Wildman, clerk, Robert Allen and William Gyles. Holographic signature and seal of Thomas Cotton.
