Description

Grant, in pursuance to a deed of covenant dated 1 May 1620, by Thomas Cotton esq. of Ashill, Norfolk, to John Banges, yeoman of Hempstead, Essex, of closes of lands, meadows and pasture called Johns, containing around 5 acres, in Hempstead. With letter of attorney by Thomas Cotton for Robert Cooke gent., to deliver his land to John Banges.

Witnesses: John Reandy and William Claydon.

Endorsed: note of the delivery of seisin to John Banges by Robert Cooke. Witnesses: Edward Banges and Samson Banges. Holographic signature and Seal of Thomas Cotton.
