Grant in fee by Ranulf de Brunton' to Gilbert the butcher of Durham, son of Humphrey, of his land in Suterpethe with appurtenances that Geoffrey of Yarm (Jarum), Ranulf's grandfather, once held, lying between the lands of Gilbert parmenter and the lands of Richard Pigun. Gilbert has to pay yearly half a silver mark.
Witnesses: William de Midilton, then steward of Durham, Master Richard de Berevill', sheriff of Durham, John Tywe, Reginald merchant, Thomas son of Lewin, William Archur, William dyer, Gilbert parmenter, Walter Burges, Hugh Lumbard and others.
