Description

Release by William Juvenis and Tunnoc, his wife, to Philip de Leya and Ada, his wife, of the third part of their lands with appurtenances lying in the 10 ploughlands in Cambes. Boundaries are listed. Philip de Leya and Ada gave to them 5 silver marks.

Witnesses: Heimer sheriff of Roxburgh (Rokisburc'), Gilbert, his brother, Andrew de Sinton, Master Adam de Baggate, Paulinus, clerk of Roxburgh, Serlo parson of Minuth', Adam parson of Bedrule (Rule Bethoc), Hugh of Rulewde, John English, Robert de Lundoniis, William Spic, Costantin de Grendune, Ralph clerk who wrote this charter, and others. One out of two seals, attached.
