Description

Indenture made between Walter de Boredhan and Walter, his son and heir, on one part, and Philip de la Ley and John, his son and heir, on the other part, whereby Walter and Walter grant a moiety of all their lands in the barony of Minto (Mintow), Northumberland, with all appurtenances, the advowson of the church of Minto and the costs to Philip de la Ley and his son, with a reverse grant by Philip and John to Walter and his son. Grant by Walter and Walter of full right to present to the church upon the death of Master David de Boredona, rector of Minto.

Witnesses: William Redell, William de Muscocampo, Thomas Gray, knights, Walter of Rothbury (Rothebery), John de Hornecleff, William son of Henry of Minto, Robert Bercar of Minto, and many others. Missing seal.
