Description

Indenture between Edward Beckham of Gatley, Norfolk, yeoman, son and heir of Richard Beckham, deceased, and Judith the wife of Edward; Richard Beckham of Gately, yeoman, one of the other sons of the said Richard Beckham, deceased, and Marie his wife; Robert Flinte of Gately yeoman, and Alice his wife; and Frances Beckham of Gately, widow, late the wife of the said Richard Beckham, deceased, on the first part. And Thomas Punder of Stanfield, Norfolk, gentleman, on the second part; and Hugh Dixon of Pensthorpe, Norfolk, gentleman, on the third part. Grant to Richard Beckham of the messuage with all appurtenances (as set out in an attached schedule) in which Edward now dwells as farmer in Gately, Norfolk, to be held of Thomas Punder and his heirs to the use of Richard and his heirs for ever, with other land specified to be held to the use of Hugh Dixon and his heirs.

Signatures of all parties with eight signet seal impressions, some broken and detached.
